Among them, 54 students from the 2023 cohort were assigned to the control group and received the traditional lecture-based teaching model, 58 students from the 2024 cohort were assigned to the experimental group and received the flipped classroom combined with scenario simulation teaching model. Teaching effectiveness was evaluated through clinical skills assessment scores including doctor-patient communication, condition assessment, management principles, and operational ability and a self-administered questionnaire.</p> </sec><sec> <p><strong>Results</strong></p> <p>The scores of the experimental group in doctor-patient communication, condition assessment, and management principles were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (<italic>t</italic>=6.04, 3.41, 5.59, <italic>P</italic><0.05).
